FAQ's
1. What do I need to do to receive my Certification?
Each course has a Certification Activity that is to be completed and submitted in order to be eligible for your Certificate. It’s in the form of a workbook that you complete and the activities are designed for you to implement the skills you’ve acquired throughout the course.

Our team then reviews and marks your work and sends you feedback.
The activities are a great way for us to know that you are on the right track; they are not designed to pass and fail.

We mark based on a Competent or Not Yet Competent. Meaning that if there is room for improvement, we give you the opportunity to resubmit that section of the activity in order to succeed and receive your Certificate
2. What do I need to bring for my in-person training?
All you need to bring to training is an open mind, as we provide you with your training materials such as your notebook, pen and other learning materials. We also recommend you bring 2 fashion magazines of your choice for activities in the classroom.

You will be learning in a beautiful space that is filled with natural light, fresh flowers and of course, snacks and drinks. It is truly an amazing space to enhance your creativity.
3. What does the course content look like?
  • In-Person: Attending training in person means you will have completed the majority of the course requirements and will have all the skills and knowledge to go out there and work in the industry. You will get access to the course content in an Online version to recap any parts of the training you want to revisit, plus some additional lessons to extend your education outside of the classroom. You do not have to do the activities provided in the Online component if you have attended in-person training.

  • Online: The online lessons are between 5 and 30 minutes long. They’re quick fire videos covering all the details you need to know in order to be a professional stylist. Embedded through the course are activities to put your learning into practice. It’s an easy to navigate platform where you can mark each lesson as Complete once you’ve fulfilled the lesson requirements. This helps you keep track of your progress.
5. I’m nervous and excited - can I do this?
We hear this often. For many of our students, this is new territory, and a dream come true, to finally be pursuing something they love.
The reality is, we’ve seen our stylists succeed in so many different ways for over a decade and across 15 countries around the world.

So can you do this? YES!
We will give you all the knowledge, framework, skills and confidence to go out there and make this dream a reality. All you need to do is turn up, be eager to learn and then take action steps to put it into practice.
4. What kind of hours do I need to dedicate to complete my course?
Everything in our courses is by design to ensure you are industry ready upon completion.
  • In-Person: You'll attend 5 consecutive dates of in-person training. Post in-person training, we recommend dedicating a minimum of 2-3 hours per week to continue learning, working with clients, seeking out creative projects and research.

  • Online: If you’re studying with us purely online, we’d recommend dedicating 2 to 3 hours per week to your studies, including watching video lessons, completing activities and research. As you progress this might increase depending on your goal and the number of clients or projects you can work with.
6. How do I enrol in one of the other courses? Can I do this at any time?
We also recommend our students complete both the Personal and Editorial courses so they are equipped with every skill required to call themselves a professional stylist. Regardless of which career path they want to take.
We can easily arrange enrolment into one of the other courses at any stage throughout your journey.
All you need to do is click HERE to speak with our National Course Advisor who can then update your payment plan and secure your spot in your preferred intake date.
